Anthony Nak blue topaz earrings at a price mere mortals can afford

I love QVC -- I'll enumerate all the reasons why in a later post. These to-die-for blue topaz earrings from Atelier Anthony Nak are part of the reason for my slavish devotion to the home-shopping channel.

Anthony Nak, if you're unfamiliar, is a high-end jewelry brand based in Austin, Texas. Celebs such as LeAnn Rimes, the Bush twins, Sarah Jessica Parker (SJP, as I like to call her) and Reese (Witherspoon) are big fans -- and no wonder. The jewelry is absoultely stunning.

And usually stunning comes with a big price tag. But not when QVC gets involved.

QVC commissioned Anthony Nak to design a line of sterling silver and gemstone jewelry for its customers -- with most pieces priced at under $100. (Anthony Nak, a fine jewelry line, is designed by Anthony Camargo and designer David "Nak"Armstrong.)

The premiere show for Atelier Anthony Nak on QVC was scheduled to run an hour, but the jewelry sold out in a little more than 30 minutes.

That's good news and bad news for you if you want a pair of these earrings. Right now, they're on waitlist, but QVC will have more in stock soon. And you can rest assured that Antony Nak will be back on QVC with more designs so the company can cash in on the huge mainstream demand for its products.

My earrings and an amesthyst ring from the same line arrived in the mail today, and I'm just (goo-goo) gaga over this jewelry.

I put the earrings on to run to the grocery store. Some people might save stunners like these for a special occassion. But Diva Mommies know that every day is a special occassion, so we bring out the bling whenever we can. Remember, you can never have too much flash or too much cash!
