Goo Goo Giveaway Extravaganza: Black Beaded Wristlet

My love of fashionable accessories has been well-established on this blog.

I'm of the opinion that a woman can never have enough shoes or handbags in every color, shape, size and manner of sparkle.

And just as every woman needs a little black dress in her wardrobe, she needs a little black bag as well.

Here in the Beigeboro -- as a friend once christened our town -- we don't get invited to many black-tie events. But there are times when I need to put on a little sparkle. On those occasions, I always reach for the same bag, even though I literally have a closet full of purses.

Now, my go-to-evening bag is silver, but it has a lot in common with the bag I'm giving away today. It's a wristlet, and it's just a wisp of a thing -- big enough only to carry essentials like a driver's license, a tube of lipstick, a few bills, a debit card and my phone. I personally think wristlets are the best bags to carry to formal events and other dressy soirees. They're super-chic, but they're so much easier to carry than a clutch. Think about it: What do you do with your evening bag when you're trying to nibble on finger foods and sip some champagne? If it's a wristlet, you need only to slip it on your wrist. Hands-free partying.
