I try to pack pieces that can be reused..simple slacks or a top that goes with anything so you do not have to have 5 different outfits for 5 days..mix and match and get by with 3 instead

When packing clothes & shoes try to stay with only 1 or 2 colors. That way you can pack less, and everything goes together.

A favorite packing tip of mine is to make sure you put a change of clothes in your carry-on luggage in case your checked bags don't make it. :)

I pack as lightly as possible - I stay with one basic color (black or navy) & add color with tops & accessories. I take one pair of shoes, usually flats, in my basic color & wear one pair of casual shoes (tennies, clogs, etc). By doing this, I can usually pack one carry on bag for a 3-5 day trip.

An easy one is to roll your socks inside of your shoes. I also pack a plastic bag for dirty laundry.
